The major challenges for Nephrology in the future are the increasing prevalence of Chhronic Kidney Disease (CKD), limited treatment options, high healthcare costs, lack of awareness and early diagnosis, and limited access to healthcare. Addressing these challenges will require a multi-faceted approach. At International Nephrology Masterclass held in Milan (February 17th) we discussed about the future of Nephrology with Kai-Schmidt Ott (Germany), Professor of Nephrology at Hannover Medical School, Hannover.
